In many cases a Purchaser or Vendor will not see their lawyer until after signing a binding agreement / contract for sale. If it is not possible to see a lawyer before you sign the sale contract, we recommend that you insert a clause in your sale contract that says that your obligation to complete the contact is "...subject to your lawyer's approval as to form and content" within some specified time period (e.g., 2 business days). This way, if there is something disadvantageous included in the sale agreement or, alternatively, something important not included, your lawyer can advise you and you can determine whether you wish to proceed with the contract.
